Location:

The lodge is located between Nelspruit and the South African / Mozambican border, 50 km from Nelspruit and 150 km from Maputo (about 2 hours drive, including border crossing). Nelspruit (KMIA) is the closest airport. 1,5 hour drive. Very convenient and ideal for people, who do not want to drive long distances.

 

Size:

The lodge is bigger, and much more luxurious than most lodges in the area! 74 rooms in total!

 

Style:

The Lodge is located right outside Kruger Park. Rooms are facing the Crocodile river (southern border of park) and animals can frequently be seen from the room, or one of the nice terraces! Amazing views from all riverside rooms and, the swimming pools and 2 restaurants. The gate of the park is only 5 min distance away!

 

 

 

Catering:

2 restaurants. One with mainly South African style of cooking and one with a more Asiatic style of cooking. A la carte or buffet.

 

Game Drives:

Safaris start daily at 5:30 am and end at 6:00 pm: Always open 4x4 type vehicles. Possibility of night game drives with official Rangers of the Kruger Park. Very nice experience.

Extra Activities:

The lodge offers hiking safaris,as well as visits to the near by Blyde River Canyon. Boat excursion on the Blyde River. Hot air balloon flights, helicopter or micro light flights over the Kruger are possible.
