DIVING IN POMENE

Up until recently, diving in Pomene was virtually unknown. Even today, the chances of running into another diver underwater are unheard of in this virgin diving paradise.

Rob, an on-site Dive Instructor who’s been exploring the waters of Pomene for the past 4 years, knows the best places to visit. He won’t hesitate to take you to discover his favorite spots or guide you to explore new sites yet unknown.

More coral and more sharks can be found in these reefs than at Tofo

The Diving center has been greatly improved since being bought by Barra Lodge. The Center was equipped in March 2005 with a new 8 meter long Semi-rigid and they are able to transport up to 16 divers at a time.

Same quality of material used in Barra or Tofo. Little or no training courses available.

Pomene is an excellent extra excursion that could be made by those visiting Mozambique for a 10 to 15 day stay.
