Tofo
is the best location in Mozambique for diving, boasting
nearly 20 spectacular sites located between 5 and 45 minutes
by boat. Not only the famous sites like Manta Reef and
Giant's Castle have an amazing diversity of species, also
the shallow dive sites offer rare and beautiful macro-life.

Tofinho Point, which is
very rich in plankton, is visited by whale sharks nearly
all year long. During the main whale shark seasons
it’s
not unusual to encounter 20 to 30 whale sharks
during a 30 minute ride to the southern dive sites like “Manta
Reef” – one
of the most beautiful sites in the region.
There
are two PADI diving clubs located in close proximity to
the hotels, accommodations and restaurants in Tofo. No need
for a car at Tofo beach! Terra Profunda works closely
together with both dive centers.
Classes for all PADI levels available from “Open Water” to
Instructor.
